There is no one-size-fits-all approach to money.

Depending on the person I’m coaching and the financial situation they are in, I will employ a bunch of different strategies to help them meet their financial goals.  I recognize the strategies I use might be different than the ones you would use. And that’s ok. One of the beautiful things about financial coaching is that there is no right way to do things.

We each have our own ideas of the best strategies to pay off debt, to shore up savings, or to plan for retirement. Those differences are definitely a good thing because we can’t expect that all people will respond to a strategy the same way.

The way you approach finances is the way that is going to resonate with your ideal clients, which is perfect because those are exactly the people you want to attract.

People often ask if we only teach one type of money strategy in the Financial Coach Academy. The short answer is no, we don’t. There are two modules in Financial Coach Academy where we talk about financial concepts. These modules cover the exercises, handouts, and explanations we teach our clients. However, the thing about these exercises and handouts is that they can and should be edited to cater to your approach to money. We review the exercises, the questions we ask, the assignment for the client and then what result that points to for us. But based on someone else’s money philosophy, I know they could come to a completely different conclusion.

I’m willing to bet any participant in the Academy would tell you that we are the biggest cheerleader and fan of financial coaches helping their clients in whatever way works for them. So if you want to teach a certain belief, even if it’s not one we teach specifically, we are going to help you and mentor you toward creating the exercise that will help make your point tangible to your client. Our job is to make you the best and most confident coach you can be, not to do everything exactly the way we do it.

The entire Academy is built on this premise. We provide everything you need so if you wanted to you could plug and play to get your financial coaching business up and running. But you don’t have to. We give you a framework so you can create things on your own based on your own niche, or your own philosophies. Why? Because we know there is no one right way to do this. And we want you to find your ideal clients and know you can only do that if you are authentic in your approach and the money strategies you employ.
