I spent 7 years as a financial advisor and corporate accountant – but it wasn’t until I started helping friends and family with their finances that I realized my passion wasn’t in making corporations more money – I wanted to help real people with their day-to-day finances. So, in 2010, I started my own financial coaching business, Fiscal Fitness PHX. 

And at the time, no one was providing the level of financial coaching that I wanted to – so I created most of my own systems and processes. These same systems and processes have helped launch me as a nationally recognized financial coach, and are exactly what we teach inside the Financial Coach Academy® and other programs. I’m also the proud author of the Financial Coaching Playbook – the definitive guide to starting and running a financial coaching business.

You would think a former math teacher would be a natural budgeter. I taught middle school math for 11 years but was a mess when it came to budgeting and balancing my own checkbook. By investing in financial coaching in 2015, my husband and I made a remarkable amount of progress in five years. I loved the power of financial coaching so much that I left the teaching profession in 2020 to become a full-time coach and join the Fiscal Fitness team.

My love of numbers and systems has been an asset to the Fiscal Fitness team and business. I love making things run smoothly and finding a way to streamline processes. Oh and organization. I love when things are organized. I run a lot of the behind the scenes social media for Fiscal Fitness and show the ways I make that work efficiently along with client scheduling in the Academy.
