The Symposium is structured so general sessions are followed by implementation time. The Weekend’s (Rough) Agenda

THURSDAY, APRIL 28TH

We kick off the Symposium around 6:30 p.m. with our Welcome Happy Hour. It’s the first chance to gather and get to know the other coaches who are attending the Symposium in-person. If you’re one of our VIP attendees, your day will start around 9 a.m. for our Roadmap to Profitability VIP Experience. 

FRIDAY, APRIL 29TH

Our first full day of training starts around 8:30 a.m. We go until around 5:30 p.m. We’ll have breaks for snacks and lunch. Food and beverages will be provided for all in-person attendees. In-person attendees also will have a session with a professional photographer on either Friday or Saturday and get a FREE headshot.

SATURDAY, APRIL 30TH

We do it all over again. Our second full day of training will go from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with scheduled breaks throughout. You evenings are free, but we encourage in-person attendees to meet up, unwind and get to know one another and the Scottsdale area for dinner at the end of each day.

SUNDAY, MAY 1ST

Join us for an optional Sunday Funday. This morning of fun is designed to help our coaches get to know one another better, unwind, and see the sights in and around Phoenix. It should end around midday so if you’re joining us for Sunday Funday, plan on catching a later flight out. Or stay an extra day!

COVID PRECAUTIONS

WE TAKE COVID SERIOUSLY AND WANT EVERYONE TO FEEL SAFE ATTENDING THE SYMPOSIUM.

COVID affected how we ran the 2020 and 2021 Symposium. And while our hope is that COVID will be fading by spring of 2022, we are still planning to take all necessary precautions. 

We will follow all state, local, and venue-specific guidelines to keep attendees safe – that includes mask-wearing, if necessary, for all in-person attendees. Because there are a limited number of in-person spots available, anyone purchasing the in-person option is committing to attend the Symposium in-person. We do not issue refunds or exchanges. If you are not prepared to follow all COVID guidelines or feel uneasy traveling, please consider purchasing the live virtual option where you can enjoy the Symposium from the comfort of your own home.

One Last Covid Note: We believe we can have a fun, productive, AND SAFE event for all in-person attendees. We’ve done it the past two years.  Our focus will be on striking that balance once again.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

If I purchase an in-person ticket can I change it to virtual or vice versa?2021-09-16T15:12:01+00:00

We do not issue refunds or exchanges for Symposium tickets. In-person seats are limited, so if you sign up for the in-person ticket, we expect you in attendance. If something comes up and you can no longer attend or need to switch your option, we’ll do our best to help you find another coach who can take your place, but you’ll be responsible for payments and reimbursements with that person. We do not facilitate those transactions and you are ultimately responsible for finding your replacement.

If you purchase a virtual ticket and would like to upgrade to an in-person ticket, you can ONLY if there are spots available. The in-person spots go fast, so we cannot guarantee that will be an option.

Does the price of the Symposium include lodging?2021-09-16T15:00:48+00:00

No. In-person attendees will need to pay for lodging separately. We always offer a room block at a local hotel, and we’ve seen coaches int he past share rooms or rent AirBNB’s to cut down on costs.

Will the virtual Symposium be recorded or only available live?2021-09-16T14:56:47+00:00
Your virtual or in-person ticket to the Symposium  INCLUDES the recordings from the event. We call this the Virtual Pass.
We provide the Virtual Pass by itself only for purchase after the event. You can buy previous year’s virtual passes as well.
Each year’s virtual pass costs $149, whereas the virtual live option is $397. With the virtual pass, there’s no live interaction, breakout rooms, asking questions, getting to know other coaches in meet-n-greet rooms, etc. It’s just the recordings of the content delivered. And the recordings don’t include breakout sessions b/c those aren’t so much “presentations” but hands-on activities, interacting, etc. If you purchase the virtual ticket and attend the Symposium via the live simulcast, you get it all.
Should I go to the Symposium if I’m a newer coach or I haven’t taken the Academy?2021-09-16T14:52:56+00:00

Yes! The Symposium is a total mix of brand new coaches, veteran coaches and everyone in between! We do breakout sessions, so you’ll have content designed specifically for you based on where you’re at in your coaching journey.
