Think Like a CEO Virtual Retreat

Struggling to Balance Client Work and Business Growth?

It’s Time to Think Like a CEO

Hi, I’m Kelsa, founder of Financial Coach Academy®, and if we haven’t met yet, I take my job as the CEO of my company very seriously.

But that “seriousness” didn’t just happen — in fact, it took me a while to fully step into the CEO role because imposter syndrome is a b!tch.

And, if you’re running your business, no matter what your business is or its size…you are, by definition, the CEO.

Being the CEO requires a different perspective and has different requirements than “just” being a business owner.

And if you’re the CEO, that means you need to think like a CEO, which means thinking beyond the day-to-day things.

As a CEO, it’s your job to lead, whether you’re a solo business owner or have a team of 100. You need to create the vision, get out of the weeds, and make sure that you’re focused on the things that are going to move the business forward.

…but if you haven’t done this kind of work before, you probably aren’t sure where to start, and it’s no wonder. This type of thinking isn’t something you’ll gain through any course, program, or book. You need to experience it with someone who can help you shift into this bigger thinking.

Because as the CEO, you need to be expansive, to think BIGGER, to tap into the BIG vision for your business.

So, if you’ve…

  • been trying to think bigger in your business…but you’re not really sure what “bigger” means (at least to you)…

  • felt like you’re stuck in the weeds no matter what you do…

  • thrown so much “spaghetti” at the wall that you’re pretty sure you couldn’t untangle the ideas if you tried…

  • tested and tried out tactics that you’ve seen work for other coaches, but they’re not working well for you…

Then you very likely need the time and the space to take a step back, regroup & refocus.

IT’S TIME FOR YOU TO CREATE AND EXECUTE THE VISION YOU HAVE FOR YOUR BUSINESS – AND YOUR LIFE

I hold my own CEO retreat at least once a quarter. The thing I love about these retreats is that they always reveal something new.

They provide insights into what I want out of my life and business, clarity around what I need to get to the next step, awareness of the things I’m tolerating, and confirmation of the things that are holding me back.

This kind of introspective work is essential for scaling and growing your business. The profound impact these retreats have had on my life and business is why this is the only program I personally run each year.

The Truth About Being a CEO

Being the CEO of your financial coaching business requires a unique perspective and a skill set beyond just being a business owner. You need clarity and vision to steer your business toward greatness, success, a full client roster, and an expanding team.

What You’ll Gain:

  • Insight and Clarity: Understand what you truly want from your business and life.
  • Strategic Direction: Identify the next steps to take your business to the next level.
  • Awareness and Focus: Recognize and address the things holding you back.
  • Growth and Scaling: Develop the mindset and strategies needed to scale your business.

Secure your spot now for just $497 and transform your approach to business. Gain the clarity and tools you need to lead with confidence and create the future you want.

I went into the CEO Retreat thinking it would be a two-day dive into mastermind topics. I had no idea the kinds of things it would do for me. It pushed my thinking beyond the everyday goals and tasks and forced me to think about where I was really going with the business and how I wanted it to show up in my life overall. It was no longer “just” this little business I was doing. I really started to “OWN” it.

Make a Difference with Your Investment

At this year’s “Think Like a CEO Virtual Retreat,” we are committed to not only transforming your business but also making a positive impact in the world. That’s why we are donating $100 from every registration to the Equal Justice Initiative (EJI).

Why the Equal Justice Initiative?

The EJI, founded by Bryan Stevenson, is dedicated to challenging racial and economic injustice, protecting basic human rights for the most vulnerable people in American society, and creating hope for marginalized communities. Their work has deeply inspired our approach to financial coaching.

Bryan Stevenson’s principles of empathy, human dignity, hope, and “the power of proximity” have revolutionized my coaching philosophy. He teaches that to truly address problems, we must get close to them. For coaches, this means understanding clients’ unique situations and seeing beyond their past mistakes. Stevenson’s ideas have helped me create a coaching approach that restores hope and financial dignity to my clients.

You can hear more about how Bryan Stevenson has shaped my approach to financial coaching in our podcast episode, The Power of Proximity: How Bryan Stevenson Shaped My Financial Coaching.

For just $497, you are not only investing in your own growth and success but also contributing to the incredible work of the Equal Justice Initiative. Together, we can make a difference and create a more just and equitable world

The CEO Retreat is held virtually, online, allowing you to participate from the comfort of wherever you work best or feel most inspired.

When is the Think Like a CEO Retreat?

The Retreat will take place over two days: November 7th and 8th, 2024. Each day will begin at 6:00 a.m. Pacific Time (7:00 a.m. MT / 8:00 a.m. CT / 9:00 a.m. ET) and will wrap at approximately 2:00 p.m. Pacific Time (3:00 p.m. MT / 4:00 p.m. CT / 5:00 p.m. ET).

How Do I attend?

Once you purchase your virtual ticket, you’ll receive an email one month prior to the event with all the information you need to attend the sessions LIVE. Each morning will kick off with a welcome session to set the tone for the day, followed by facilitated exercises. You will have at least 5 hours of working time with me throughout the Retreat. We’ll have breaks between sessions, giving you time to work through the exercises at your own pace.

Do I need anything “special” to attend?

Because the Retreat is held online, there isn’t much you need to bring besides yourself, a positive outlook, and your favorite journaling materials. Where you choose to attend the retreat matters: ideally, you’d have a space where you can work uninterrupted and without distractions. Some of our past attendees have reserved hotel rooms, AirBnBs, or set clear boundaries with their families to make this happen. Basically, you can attend from wherever you are as long as it’s a distraction-free space.

By the end of the Think Like a CEO Retreat, you’ll have a clear vision of what your business and your life need and how to take action to work toward that vision. You’ll also experience the same process I use for my own quarterly CEO Retreats, so you can continue this important work on your own once a quarter, once a year, or as often as you’d like.
